Story
Hi there,
We are proud to be participating in Tread Together, a 24 hour treadmill challenge in support of Suicide Prevention Australia (SPA), to raise much-needed awareness of suicide, and funds towards its prevention.
Here at our Club in the City we are providing two options:
1. Donate $15 for every 15 minutes you participate on a treadmill
2. Participate in our super challenge & donate a minimum of $15 or get people to sponsor you!
The challenge has 3 levels...
Level 1 (Blue) - 10.5km treadmill, 50km bike, 50,000kg weights, 5km rower
Level 2 (Pink) - 21km treadmill, 100km bike, 100,000kg weights, 10km rower
Level 3 (Purple) - 42km treadmill, 200km bike, 200,000kg weights, 20km rower
The idea is to commit to the challenge and see what level you can reach. Every participant will receive a card (attached pic) and aim to complete as many of the rounds on the card they can with the time they have available.
We will be here for the full 24 hours starting at 6am on the Friday and finishing at 6am on the Saturday. The idea of the day is to create awareness and discussion around suicide prevention, so there will be plenty of other events on the day for those who want other ways to be involved.
